Do you accept insurance?Unfortunately, most insurance companies don't cover Naturopathic Medicine in California yet. We are happy to give you a
superbill that you can submit to your insurance company, though. A few companies will reimburse for partial payment.
Will my insurance pay for lab work or testing?
In general, PPO insurance companies will pay for traditional blood work because it is billed through the lab. The more "alternative"
tests are not always covered, but you can check with our office to verify.
Do you write prescriptions?
Naturopathic doctors can write prescriptions in California for thyroid and hormones. The state association is actively
working to increase our scope of practice for more prescription rights.
